Kongres Obrotu Gotówki, held this year on the 9th September at the Klub Bankowca, Warsaw, has been the first cash conference in Poland for many years which has tried to assemble the entire banking technology community in the country. Featuring industry-leading conferences, a strongly focused trade exhibition and much more, this Conference has provided the definitive platform for banking technology leaders to network with peers, share insights and explore latest innovations. In terms of attendance the event was a great success, with more than 140 delegates, including managing directors and board members of the biggest Polish Banks.
With a large and contemporary solutions suite booth, Glory Global Solutions with Talemax were able to showcase much of our extensive range of cash management solutions, including the Vertera 6G and UW 500. With more than 30 visitors to the Glory stand, we were able to demonstrate our technological innovations to many banks and CITs from Poland.
Unrivalled in terms of expertise in cash management hardware and software, Glory was asked to deliver a speaker slot entitled ‘Preparing for National Bank of Poland changes’. Ed Brindley, Global Business Development Director from Glory, was appointed speaker and explained to the audience among other topics how "cash recycling in the branches can reduce transportation costs and increase efficiency of the cash supply chain...” This session explored the role of the Central Bank and the role of the Financial Institutions regarding fitness sorting operations, how banks can achieve cost savings and how to face these new challenges. The session was a great success in terms of attendees and generated a good debate amongst the audience.We would like to thank organizers for hosting us and our partner, Talemax, for making the event possible for us.
