Today we announce that Paul Adams, CEO of Glory Global Solutions, has decided to leave and will be replaced by Chairman, Akihiro Harada who will occupy the role of Chairman & CEO concurrently.
After joining Talaris in 2009, and then leading Global Glory Solutions from 2012 onwards, Paul Adams will be moving on from his position as CEO at the end of this financial year.
Paul was one of the original investors in Talaris and played a significant role in the successful acquisition of this business by GLORY Ltd, Japan. Paul went on to integrate Talaris with GLORY’s overseas subsidiaries to create Glory Global Solutions (GGS) and to become this new organization’s first CEO. This has been a highly successful integration, establishing a $1bn business that today is a global leader in cash technology solutions. GLORY Ltd, through GGS, now has the solid foundation to achieve its ambitions in overseas markets.
Although Paul will be missed, his enthusiasm and desire for the success of our business will remain. Paul will continue to lead efforts to achieve GLORY’s aims for this financial year, and ensure a successful handover.
This transition marks another step in the evolution of GLORY’s growth in international markets, as well as a new step in the development of Paul’s career. On GLORY’s behalf, we would like to thank Paul for his outstanding service and leadership of GGS, and wish him well for the future.
Effective from 1st April 2016, Mr. Akihiro Harada, who is currently both a GLORY Ltd board member and Chairman of GGS, will concurrently serve as CEO of GGS.
