Glory announces an extension to the UW-series banknote sorter range

Since its launch in 2007, the UW series banknote sorter has established itself as the leading banknote fitness sorter in the world. More than 10,000 units of the 4-stacker UW-500 and 8-stacker UW-600 have been sold to central banks, commercial banks, CITs and casinos in more than 50 countries globally. In doing so, it has earned a reputation for high quality and reliability, critical in the high volume cash processing operations it serves.

Glory now announces the introduction of two new models in the UW range. The 12-stacker UW-700 and 16-stacker UW-800 address the needs of customers that have more complex banknote sorting requirements. The additional pockets allow more processing in a single pass, increasing productivity and lowering the overall cost per note processed.

The UW-700 and UW-800 share the same pedigree as the UW-500 and UW-600, so customers can be sure of the same levels of performance and reliability.

Ed Brindley, Head of Global Business Development at Glory Global Solutions, commented, “The UW-700 and UW-800 have been developed in direct response to our customers’ needs, and will assist cash processors in improving efficiency and productivity in their cash management operations. The UW-series has been designed to offer maximum flexibility with true modularity and scalability in order to meet the business and operational requirements of today and the future. With a range of proven banknote sorting technology to meet virtually any application or requirement, Glory can offer your cash handling operations an unprecedented level of accuracy, security and efficiency.”
