CHANGES TO BANKNOTE DESIGN AND/OR SUBSTRATE PRESENTS THE IDEAL OPPORTUNITY FOR THE CASHINSIGHT™ BRIDGE SOLUTION
Four banks; the Bank of England, Clydesdale Bank (CB), Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) and Bank of Scotland (BoS); began releasing the new £5 and £10 banknotes in 2016 and 2017, respectively. Since each of the four Banks issue their own polymer banknotes, this resulted in up to 4 banknote releases per denomination. The wider financial institutions therefore faced the challenge to quickly adapt to the new banknotes.
Glory’s UK Sales and Solutions teams moved quickly to maximise this opportunity, engaging with the UK customer base to showcase Glory’s two different CashInsight Bridge solutions, as well as the additional service to the CashInsight Bridge solution, a managed services element.
Working efficiently and effectively, Glory’s UK teams worked with various UK Financial Institutions to implement one of our CashInsight Bridge solutions. Those customer journeys are discussed within this case study.
