GLORY marks two years of success in Ireland

Dublin, [28 January 2020] - Dublin, 28 January 2020 - Glory Global Solutions will today mark the second anniversary of the establishment of its direct sales and service presence in Ireland.

In the past 24 months the business has grown significantly managing over 800 cash automation solutions in more than 250 locations, servicing the financial, retail, and hospitality sectors across the island of Ireland. Glory Ireland has grown quickly on the back of this success and expects to double its workforce in the next 12 months.  There will be job creation within the technical and support team in the field as well as based in the head office in Dublin.  


The formation of Glory Ireland reflected the company’s strategy of providing sales and technical support directly to its end customers.  Cash automation technology is the core of Glory's business which designs, manufactures, installs and maintains its own cash technology solutions.  Glory technology delivers efficiency gains, enhances security and enables new and improved customer experience. Evidence suggests that Ireland remains 'a cash heavy society'.  ECB figures show that 'Irish cardholders were the third highest users of cash withdrawals in the EU (after Austria and Hungary) in 2017’.  In May 2019 the Banking and Payments Federation in Ireland reported that despite increases in contactless payments, 'consumers' love affair with cash continues with some £19.9 billion withdrawn from ATMs in Ireland during 2018.'
