Environmental preservation is an integral part of our corporate initiatives at GLORY LTD. Our environmental management system is designed to reduce the various environmental impacts of our business activities. This system covers everything from energy efficiency, resource conservation, and waste reduction to the proper management of chemical substances and the development of environment-friendly products. Our Head Office and Head Factory in Himeji, Japan acquired ISO 14001 certification in March 2002. We are now working to expand the scope of certification to our domestic business sites and branch offices, and to the Group's six manufacturing subsidiaries operating domestically and overseas. Largely thanks to the environmental-preservation activities being promoted at group companies overseas, GLORY (PHILLIPPINES), INC. and GLORY Denshi Kogyo (Suzhou) Ltd. in China have both acquired ISO 14001 certification.
As the demand for products with low power consumption increases, GLORY continues to evaluate all of its products for energy efficiency and recyclability. From the development stage onward, we strive to produce products with a lower overall impact on the environment. This is reflected in our Environmental Policy, an affirmation of GLORY's commitment to providing environment-friendly products.
Environmental Policy of the GLORY Group
We, the executives and employees of GLORY, will act in an environmentally responsible manner and make every effort to provide environmentally friendly products.
The GLORY Group will conduct environmental preservation activities given our involvement in developing, manufacturing, selling, servicing and distributing money processing machines, automatic vending machines and information and communication devices.

Green Procurement
GLORY is committed to promoting green procurement, which involves purchasing environmentally friendly products from suppliers who collaborate in our environmental efforts. By purchasing materials with minimal environmental impact and supplying products that are environmentally responsible we contribute to environmental preservation and the establishment of a sustainable society. GLORY Green Procurement Standards have been established in an effort to promote even further understanding and participation among our suppliers on this basis.
